I love singer-songwriters- Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Jim Croce, Carol King, Dan Fogelberg, Sara Bareilles... This is a list that is even too long for me to write. What I appreciate so much about singer-songwriters is the immense amount of talent that they have. I am amazed by these artists who write, compose, and sing their own songs, and who often play an instrument at the same time. The new artist I found this month (#15, #16) can be added to my long list of loves, and her name is Missy Higgins. I honestly have not found one song by her that I don't like; some of my favorites are "Forgive Me", "Where I Stood", "The Special Two", and "Scar". If you have a second, please check her out! Yes, she plays piano.

AWESOME! Let me know what you think. I'm personally going to keep an eye out for tour dates! And maybe I'll go down to the basement, dust off my keyboard, learn to play, and realize my long-held dream of becoming a singer-songwriter!!! Yeah...totally not gonna happen. That's what I have Missy Higgins for. I'll just sing along in my car.
